Mark Haygood, DO, MS

Dr. Haygood is the CEO and practicing physician at New South Psychiatry. His goal is to promote well-being and positive mental health among his patients. He is happy to call Mobile his home. He began private practice in April of 2018. Dr. Haygood is a Board-Certified Psychiatrist. He has been an attending physician since 2015. He  completed his residency at the University of South Alabama after attending medical school at Edward Via Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He currently serves as the president for the Alabama Psychiatric Physicians Association. His favorite thing about being an outpatient psychiatrist is establishing long lasting relationships with his patients.
